You are given direct instructions, the clue to reading them is ‘reflection’
Rune placement is a matter of logic, and the four runes can be seen in the border
Example: the fourth space in the third row is in a chain or row with three other runes, so the fourth rune must occupy this space
The instruction (viewed via a mirror) is: “make sure all four runes are present in every row, column and chain”, resulting in three different runes in the three shaded spaces.

This should be straightforward, but pay close attention to detail
The shaded spaces in the previous puzzle together provide the right phrase
It’s important to note the differing shading
The three runes correspond to: “a stranger – is close by – stand still and move the earth to come together”

Notice the satchel icon - folding is required
One letter per square, the solution reads down the shaded squares.
Make folds to bring ‘?’ and ‘X’ together (thus ‘removing’ a middle part of the map); look for what’s formed
The symbol visible in the lines on what remains visible of the map is the downward-pointing triangle rune.

Your previous solution will be a symbol
This can be seen in the darker lines
The dark lines on the folded map creates a symbol, selecting that rune provides you with a descriptive clue
The correct rune is FINN

You need to select one particular creature
The previous solution provides a cryptic reference to it
The previous page rune clues refer to duck, snail, eel and frog, only one is correct
The riddle refers to the eel, so the correct word is MOON.

The cards all have one of four symbols on
Your previous solution should direct you to one symbol and thus one set of cards
Reading the cards of the same symbol in line-by-line sequence (card one top line, card two top line, and so on) creates the solution
The moon cards spell out the solution “LISTEN TO THE FIRST SECOND FOURTEENTH AND LAST WORDS ONLY”
